He also started an experimental school at Shantiniketan where he tried his Upanishadic ideals of education. From time to time he participated in the Indian nationalist movement, though in his own non-sentimental and visionary way; and Gandhi, the political father of modern India, was his devoted friend. Tagore was knighted by the ruling British Government in 1915, but within a few years he resigned the honour as a protest against British policies in India. Tagore had early success as a writer in his native Bengal. With his translations of some of his poems he became rapidly known in the West. Samsung LED TV-32 inch Price -worth every penny
i have been using this tv for one year now and feel that its picture quality is amazing especially if you subscribe HD channels. the colour contrast and brightness is much better than that found in lcd. it has a USB port and so i often transfer photographs, movies, etc so that the entire family can see it comfortably. i often turn the tv room into a movie theatre by turning off the lights and using the 'movie' or 'dynamic' picture mode. the picture size can also be changed by specifying the dimensions. the control menu and TV remote are well labelled and easy to use but there are many buttons on the remote that are never used because they are meant for cable tv while nowadays everyone has dish tv or set top boxes.also the buttons on the remote are small and so the elderly and people with far-sightedness have problem using it.also operating the tv without the remote is not possible and i found this to be very inconvenient. the sound quality however is excellent.so overall the samsung LED-UA32D4000N is worth every penny and is suitable for the middle class.

Very Thin and Wide !
Samsung LED-UA32D4000N is a very thin and smart looking television. When i opened the box i was so impressed by the screen size and the looks of the television. One must have a DTH/Dish connection, only then you can experience the true color quality of the picture. There are many ports available to connect various devices like USB, HDMI, Speakers, Dvd player, and PC. The sound quality is not upto the mark as i had expected but still audible and clear sound. Has air light buttons, remote works well from distance. Easy to set up, one can use the stand or hang it on the wall. Energy efficient and all these feature are at a very good cost. Rating- ****
