Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 White
Good but a slight reduction in price could be a smart move!!!
Samsung Galaxy Note smartphone was the first hybrid tablet-smartphone and took the world by surprise because people quickly became fans of this oddly sized device. Samsung has been a brand that very frequently experiments with different technologies and functionalities; a classic case being the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, which is the first Note device to cross the 10 inch screen size mark and has calling functionality integrated in it. But does that make it worth the Rs 40,000 price tag? Let’s find out… FIRST LOOK: As many of you might have realized, Samsung has recently become fond of white with almost all of its new products being primarily available in white color. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 also comes in white color with a silver glossy finish to it. The front side houses a 10.1 TFT screen and two stereo speakers and a secondary camera. The back side has a 5 MP camera with flash and the “Samsung” logo. DESIGN AND BUILD: The body of the Galaxy Note 10.1 is made of high grade poly carbonate plastic which gives it strength and makes it lightweight too. The Note weighs a little over 600 grams with the dimensions: 262 x 180 x 8.9 mm. The back side is completely flat so it is prone to scratches and fading, so it would be a good idea to buy a decent cover for it. Although the build quality of the device is superb, due to its big size it is certainly prone to damage due to falls, a problem common in most big screen devices. The display is scratch resistant, so getting the screen laminated is not necessary. The design of the device is almost the same as the other galaxy devices. Except for a bigger screen, one cannot differentiate it easily from Galaxy tab 7. The device is without doubt slim and lightweight, and that makes it easier to hold and carry for longer times as well. It has all the slots and keys on top, which makes them easily accessible. The volume rocker and power key are the only physical keys on the device. There are slots for a normal SIM card and a MicroSD card available. The absence of buttons certainly makes for a good and neat design. Samsung uses a proprietary charging and data port so users will have to carry the cable with them at all times; although a MicroUSB based charging port would have been preferred by the customers, which is becoming standard in most of the devices. KEY FEATURES: 1. The display is a 10.1 inches PLS TFT capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 800 x 1280 pixels. However, the pixel density is a bit low at 149 ppi. The low pixel density is nothing to worry about as the device runs all the movies and HD games with almost zero pixilation. Although an AMOLED display would have been preferred, the TFT also is not bad, but not as good as the AMOLED display. 2. TouchWiz user interface works perfectly with the device's hardware resulting in absolutely accurate action every time. The interface of the device is again similar to most other devices and very easy to work around. Another great thing about the new Note is that while using the stylus users can rest their palm on the screen like they would on an ordinary notebook and the stylus works flawlessly throughout. 3. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 runs on an Exynos 4412 quad core processor at 1.4 GHz. It has 2 GB of RAM which, coupled with the processor, delivers a very smooth performance. The applications load and run without causing any load the CPU. The processor and RAM come in real handy while utilizing features such multi-screen and video pop out. Be it gaming or multitasking everything is done with great ease and without any hiccups or issues. 4. The Note 10.1 has a stay awake feature just like the Samsung Galaxy S3. It constantly tracks users' eyes and the moment it can't track the user's gaze anymore the device starts a countdown to put itself on standby. 5. The Note 10.1 is the first tablet in 10 inch segment to feature calling facility. The device uses a standard sized Sim slot so users won't even have to upgrade to a micro Sim, which is what most devices today are using. Although you would have to plug in earpieces to make or receive calls as put such a big device against your ears does not make sense. For internet, there is WiFi and 3G. 6. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 supports most audio and video codecs natively, plus users can easily download applications like VLC player from Google Play. The Note 10.1 features 16 GB of internal storage which can be used to store movies, apps, music, pictures and documents. Plus, if you run out of space you can easily expand it to 64 GB via an SDHC card. 7. The device features a 1.9 megapixel front facing camera that is good for some high definition video calling although higher data bandwidth is necessary for really taking advantage of it. At the rear there's a 5 megapixel camera with inbuilt flash for illumination under low light. The quality of the camera is good in bright to medium light while in low light the camera automatically uses a flash. Pictures are bright and sharp while during night or in low light images turn rather grainy though it is certainly better than most devices out there can achieve. 8. The S-Pen is seriously a big advantage for pictures and photography, partly because of the Photoshop application, and the S Note app can be used to annotate them and share them with the world. 9. One of the major advantages of this device is its battery backup. With normal gaming, audio-video use and web browsing over both 3G and WiFi the device usually lasts for two days between full recharges. The 7000 mAh battery pack might sound small for the big 10 inch display but in reality the device's hardware has been fine tuned to balance power consumption and performance. The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 houses a great set of features and certainly lives up to the price tag. Although with so many competitors in the tablet segment these days, a slight reduction in price would be a smart move and may send this tablet/smartphone to the top of the wish list of many customers.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is a 10.1-in tablet computer designed, developed and marketed by Samsung Electronics. The tablet runs on the 4.1.1 Jelly Bean and serves as a platform for multimedia consumption including movies, music, and web browsing. It is the second entry into Samsung's Galaxy Note range, which emphasises the use of a stylus officially named S-Pen (S standing for Samsung) as an input device for tasks such as sketching and note-taking. The Note 10.1 was originally unveiled on 27 February 2012 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Spain, with a 1.4 GHz dual-core processor.[2] The tablet was released in Germany, the Kingdom Of Saudi Arabia and United Arab Emirates on 6 August 2012. This final version of the tablet incorporates a 1.4 GHz quad-core Exynos processor.[3] The tablet comes with 16, 32 and 64 GB of internal storage, and a maximum of 2 GB of RAM. Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1
The Galaxy Note 10.1 is very similar in appearance to the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1. The distinctive pair of speaker grilles on the front are a trademark, and their location is welcome since it means you can't accidently cover them with your hands. The general look and feel doesn't match the quality of the third-generation iPad or Asus Transformer Pad Infinity, for example, although it's superior to that of low-end tablets. Considering the price of the Galaxy Note 10.1, we expect better. The Galaxy Note 10.1 weighs 597g for the Wi-Fi only version and 600g for the Wi-Fi+3G option; it's a shade heavier than the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and significantly lighter than the latest iPad, which weighs 652g (Wi-Fi) or 662g (Wi-Fi+3G).

Samsung galaxy note is a 3g,10.1 inches ,capacitive touch screen ,5 mp android tablet. The memory capacity is in 3 sizes(8/16/32) gb.It is a quad core ,Jelly -bean (os) phone. I personally think that it is a complete package, worth buying. In india its proce is around 36500.It has a capability of opening multi applications on the screen.REgarding its price ,its actually very steep but if seeing the features of the phone it is worth it to go for it. It is easily upgradable 4.4.3 version available in two colours namingly black and white. SO for a final note it is overall good. The capability of the phone is great according to price.
