Plan Validity

Claim Process

In the event of an incident with your phone, you can effortlessly register a claim using any of the following methods.

Step 1: Raise a Request

Step 2: Submit Details

Submit all details as required. We recommend reporting the incident/mishap within 48 hours.

Step 3: Device Handover

After confirmation from Zopper, visit your nearest Xiaomi/Allocated authorised service centre and submit your device.

Step 4: Device Delivery

After your device is repaired and you are satisfied with the service, it will be delivered to you.

Beyond Economic Repair (BER)

Unlimited claims where total repair value is capped up to 80% of the sum insured value.

If the claim amount is more than or equal to 80% of the invoice amount, it will be deemed Beyond Economic Repair (BER) after applying depreciation according to the chart below.

If the product is declared BER and a settlement is made, no further claims can be filed under the same plan. The policy will be considered null and void.

Depreciation

In the event of a total loss or Beyond Economic Repair (BER), the final settlement amount will be determined after deducting device depreciation.

What This Plan Doesn't Cover?

  1. Software-related breakdowns, malfunctions or crashes owing to viruses or cyber-attacks
  2. Any loss or damage under mysterious circumstances including theft
  3. Damage resulting from intentional actions or willful neglect
  4. Physical and liquid damages
  5. Damages resulting from
    • natural disasters, fire, lightning, and explosions
    • riots, strikes and vandalism
  6. Losses occurring during the manufacturing warranty period
  7. Any type of loss not covered under the manufacturing warranty
  8. Any loss to accessories
  9. Any damage affecting the SIM card
  10. Damage caused by:
    1. An external product/accessory
    2. Service (including upgrades and expansions) performed by any non-authorised service centre
  11. If the serial number has been altered, defaced, modified or removed without the manufacturer's written permission
  12. Recovery and reinstallation of software or user data
